Where to do water sports in and around Caen

 

1. Sailboat - Ouistreham Riva-Bella beach

For thrill-seekers, head to the beach at Ouistreham Riva-Bella. This is the beach where you will find your happiness! It is also very well suited to beginners and younger children.

 

2. Catamaran - Lion-sur-mer

Looking for a relaxing ride on the water? Lion-sur-mer, next to the Confessional cliff, is the perfect place. On your catamaran, look up and admire the scenery around you!

 

3. Paddle - Colleville-Montgomery beach

Do you want to take a break from paddling or try this activity for the first time? We recommend the beach of Colleville-Montgomery. Preserved and the most sheltered of the coast, this beach is perfect to start paddling quietly.

 

4. Kitesurfing - Hermanville-sur-mer beach

Are you more of an intense sports fan? Then head for the beach at Hermanville-sur-mer. With a kite in the wind and a board ready to jump, the spot is perfect for a great day of kitesurfing!

 

5. A walk by the sea?

After your activity, take the time to admire the seaside villas of Lion-sur-mer in Hermanville-sur-mer. This seafront is home to sumptuous 19th century villas, including La Bluette, which is listed as a Historic Monument.
