20 minutes by car and about 1 hour by bike

Head to one of the communes where Sword Beach, the beach where the British allied forces landed, is located.

Today you will find a lovely stretch of fine sand on which to lay your towel and enjoy the Normandy sun and sea.

Hermanville-sur-Mer Beach
25 minutes by car and about 1h15 by bike

This neighbouring commune of Ouistreham is a small seaside resort which seduces its visitors with its pretty villas along the coast. Dating from the XIXᵉ century, they offer a pleasant setting for visitors coming to enjoy the fine sandy beach.

Cabourg Beach
30 minutes by car and 1h15 by bike

Visit one of the most famous beaches in France and the most romantic of all: Cabourg and its famous Promenade Marcel Proust invites you to a walk along its 4 kilometres of beach. The colourful parasols and beach huts complete this small paradise landscape!

The beach is supervised in July and August.
