A brand new service is available at the Best Western Royal Hotel Caen, open to both hotel and non-hotel guests.

From May 1st to October 1st, we offer you the rental of electric bicycles with a maximum range of 70km, in retro style and equipped with a gel saddle and gel handles.

• Full day rental: €35 per person, helmet provided

Guests have free access to a computer in the hotel lobby.

Photocopies and printouts are available on request at reception.

Our hotel is ideally located in the centre of Caen, so you can easily reach it from the train station, on foot in about 20 minutes or via the city's public transport system. The T1 tramway line allows you to reach the hotel in about 10 minutes from the station. You can also choose to use the self-service bicycles provided by Twisto, the city's public transport network.

Rather than travelling alone, opt for carpooling and services like blablacar. In less than 20 minutes via public transport, you will reach the Porte d'Angleterre carpooling area. The city of Caen is also served by services such as flixbus and is accessible in less than 3 hours from Paris.

We invite you to use these modes of transport which, in addition to being environmentally friendly, are generally less expensive.

Preferential rates have been negotiated for you with the Indigo underground car park located just opposite the hotel entrance (rates valid throughout 2022):
