Created in 2009, Ornavik Park is dedicated to the Viking people and the history of the birth of Normandy. Set in 10 hectares of wooded parkland, explore an authentic Viking village.
Less than 15 minutes from our hotel in Caen, Ornavik Park takes you back in time. Visit a faithfully reconstructed Viking village in a verdant setting. Meet the villagers and discover, for example:
The Viking camp, where each tent offers a glimpse of an element of Viking culture: weaving, wood carving, the runic alphabet, cooking...

July and August from 10.30am to 6.30pm
Three types of visit are available depending on the day (please refer to the calendar on the park website):
2-hour fun and interactive guided tour (€11/adult, €8.50/children aged 6 to 17)
Self-guided immersion tour (€11/adult, €8.50/children aged 6 to 17)
Highlights: events and festivals punctuate the village (€14/adult, €10.50/child aged 6 to 17)
