Enjoy the charms of Normandy by visiting the Vaugueux district in the centre of Caen!
Spared by the bombings, this old quarter is one of the liveliest places in the city. Today, it is home to many ground floor restaurants in magnificent half-timbered houses.
The Vaugueux district is the perfect place to stroll with your partner and share a romantic dinner.
Our favourite ❤️: the restaurant Le P'tit B in the heart of the district, mixing a rustic and traditional decoration with a cocooning atmosphere. The perfect atmosphere for a romantic lunch or dinner!
Caen Castle and its ramparts

Discover one of the largest castles in Europe! Built in the XIᵉ century by William the Conqueror, the castle and its ramparts are accessible to visitors. They offer a breathtaking view of the city of Caen: enough to make a nice souvenir photo for two.
The castle of Caen has also been home to the Fine Arts Museum since 1963. It houses archaeological and ethnographic collections, covering periods from Prehistory to the 20ᵉ century. Nearly 6,000 m² are devoted to painting, with works from the Italian, French and Flemish Renaissance.
The must-see Cabourg

Take a walk with your loved one along the beach in Cabourg.
Cabourg is a famous seaside resort and one of the most beautiful destinations on the Côte Fleurie in Normandy.
During your walk, admire the sublime villas dating from the "Belle Époque" and their beautiful multicoloured or timber-framed facades. An eclectic architecture that will not fail to surprise you.
Soft mobility 🌿: reach Cabourg by public transport! Take the T1 or T3 tram line to Caen station. Change to the NOMAD 1105 bus line to Deauville bus station.
Ouistreham
20-minute drive from the hotel
Beautiful stretches of fine sand, the sound of the waves... The seaside resort of Ouistreham offers a beautiful and long walk along the sea. If the weather is nice, why not put your towel down on the sand?
Soft mobility 🌿: reach Ouistreham and its beaches by public transport! To do this, go a few steps from the hotel to the Tour Leroy stop and take line 12 towards Haut-Lion.
You can also use the green lane of the VéloFrancette which links the two towns (entrance 5 minutes by bike from the hotel).
