Best Western Royal Hotel Caen

Fantastic location in the city center of historic Caen. Wonderfully clean, bright and spacious rooms. Comfortable beds and large bathroom . Staff all spoke fluent English and were very helpful and accommodating. Caen is a great location for a trip to Normandy because it's very walkable and has an easy public transportation system. In addition to the World War II history, there's the history of William the conqueror and the beautiful abbeys and churches of that period. The food and wine in Caen is incredible. There are many cafes and restaurants offering all types of international cuisine.

Caen is a 17 minute train ride to the city of Bayeaux where there's more wonderful architecture. Bayeaux is a common meeting spot for tours to mont st. Michel which should not be missed.

Hôtel magnifique, idéalement situé en plein centre-ville, place de la République.

Un parking couvert se trouve juste devant l'hôtel ; très pratique, mais un peu cher.

Caen est une ville charmante et très accueillante, idéalement située pour visiter les sites du Débarquement et les villages alentour, eux aussi pleins de charme.

Loin d’être génial .. RIEN DE ROYAL RIEN RIEN RIEN
- insonorisation catastrophique : des voitures passent du vendredi au samedi juste devant l’hôtel musique à fond , très ghetto.
- chambre : salle de bain propre mais chambre méga petite pour du deluxe, pas de savon à importer rien , juste du bain douche le minimum.
- le PETIT DEJ : j’en parlerai dans mon livre . Immonde, honnêtement c’est juste propre mais même une nappe sur la table il n’y a pas , le pain dure comme de la pierre , les œufs cramés et sans goûts. On doit rendre la chambre à 12h on part à 9h mdr
